Join us for an inspiring session with Marcus Amaker, Charleston’s inaugural poet laureate and recent inductee into the South Carolina Literary Hall of Fame. Marcus will share his original poetry, exploring themes of connectivity, openness, and truth. Following his reading, he will lead an engaging poetry workshop designed to encourage participants to write with authenticity and honesty. The session will also include insights into Marcus’s journey to becoming a successful full-time artist, offering valuable inspiration for anyone eager to pursue their passions with purpose.
